Hi David,
thanks for your replay.
Ok, that was a real stupid sentence. The problem is that I cannot get my
Modem run with Miami. The Modem works with the pc, it works with the amiga,
but Miami/UAE always says, that the Carrier won't work ;-(( So I cannot get
a dialup-connection.
For the bsd-emulation, do I have to do any configuration to make it run ?
Greetings,
Pearl

UAE and TCP/IP

??? Nope, everything (V, IBrowse, AWeb, YAM, BlackIRC, AmiTradeCenter)
I've tried so far works fine with bsdsocket emulation, although I've
heard there are problems with ICQ. That's with WinUAE 0.8.8r8 on WinNt4.
If you really needed to use a stack, I guess you could run Miami and make
use of the serial port to control the modem from WinUAE, but you shouldn't
need to do that.
And to bring it back on topic :), IIRC there were some problems trying to
find your own IP address with the tcplib.
Bye
